In Christ and through the Holy Spirit we are each empowered to live a life that makes a difference in the world and spreads the message of the Gospel!
As it says in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere, in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
In the lead up to Pentecost Sunday this year, during the week of 18 May – 24 May 2026, Churches of Christ from every state and territory will be praying together. We’ll be seeking God and His Kingdom – asking for greater empowerment of our churches and readiness to meet our communities with the good news and presence of Christ.
We invite you and your community to join us in prayer during this week, making use of daily written and video devotionals from members from each state, which will be released on this page on the Monday the 18th.
We can’t wait to see what God has in store for us together!
